I am Sanjidul Islam from Bangladesh. I am
15 years old. I live in Bholadistrict. According to the UNICEF's reports on
climate change, Bhola is the most risky place among 20 districts of Bangladesh
who are victims of climate change. Most risky places in Bhola are coastal
areas. Such as Monpura, Dhalchar, Kukri-Mukri. These areas people are facing many
natural disasters every year. So, I work for climate Justice.
Bangladesh is my motherland. It's a
beautiful country. Green scene is everywhere in Bangladesh. But the beauty of
Bangladesh is destroying. There are many problems in Bangladesh. At present,
Rohinga Crisis is the biggest problem for Bangladesh. Many Hills and trees have
been cut in order to provide shelter for them. Cox's Bazar Sea Beach is polluting
for them. Besides trees of Sundorban are being cut. As a result Biodiversity is
being destroyed. On the other hand, the use of Polythene in the world has increased.
This is an international problem.
I love nature. I love Bangladesh. I love
the world. But these problems give me paining. So I am working against these
problems. To protect the environment, I make awareness among people and will
return green scenery in nature again. I have a plan to make a bio-gas project
in our locality. I think, it will be effective to save the environment.
